If you have kids, you know already that they like to spend a good chunk of time somewhere on or near the floor. (By the way, isn't it amazing how as children the floor is a play-place for our imaginations, but as adults laying and/or sitting on the floor for too long is an invitation to a sore back?!)
My mom couldn't stand to see us roll around on the floor when we were younger (probably because she thought it was too hard for our little knees), so she got us bean bags. If you've had bean bags though, you know that the problem is that sooner or later they receive a final 'bonzai' jump that is just too much for their seams to handle. Then you have bean-bag beans everywhere. Such was the case in our house, until the bean-bags were finally just gotten rid of. (Can't blame my mom, those beans were smaller than real beans and static-stuck to everything, ugh!)
Thankfully, bean-bag technology (if there is such a thing) has come a long way since then! My blogging friend A Lucky Ladybug got to review a foam lounger (foam is in, beans are out!) from Comfy Sack. I had never heard of a sack-type chair being as big as a couch, but that's exactly what this is! After I read her review, I of course decided that I wanted one.
We have actually been thinking of getting a new couch, but don't want to invest a ton of money since we might be moving (and couches are heavy to move). This would be the perfect solution to that. It's cheaper than a couch, fits as many people as a couch, and would be much easier to move cross-country. Plus the people in her review pics look super comfy! (Which is good, because that's kind of the point, right?)
They even have kid-sized sacks that are perfect no matter how rambunctious your kids are. (Seriously, they ran over their products with an actual tank and they were still usable!)

My daughter would love one of these chairs. She is quickly outgrowing the little sofa I bought her.
