Hammy Potato Casserole Recipe

This casserole is easy and quick to make. I like to serve this when I'm running short on time or I just want a break from cleaning up a lot of dishes. Plus, it's absolutely delicious!

Hammy Potato Casserole

Hammy Potato Casserole
Serves 6-8

Ingredients:
  • 2 boxes au gratin potato mix (I like the Publix brand)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 mayo
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 7 to 8 oz ham steak, cubed
  • 1 14.5 oz can of green beans, drained

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees (F).

Heat the water in the microwave (or a pot on the stove) until it is boiling. This will give the potatoes a better texture.

Mix the dried potatoes and seasoning mix from the au gratin potatoes into a 9"x13" casserole dish along with the water, milk, mayo and dill weed. Make sure you stir it well so that the seasoning doesn't clump up in the potatoes!

Add the cubed ham and green beans into the casserole dish and stir until evenly distributed.

Bake the casserole uncovered in the over for 24-26 minutes.

Serve with fresh fruit and biscuits for a well-rounded meal.

Enjoy!
