Montagne Jeunesse Aloe Vera Face Spa Mask Review: PLUS a giveaway!

My thanks goes out to Montagne Jeunesse for sending me a few free masks in order for me to do a review of their products - you guys are awesome! Although I got the masks for free, please know that my opinions are always 100% my own!

If you love DIY spa days, you probably love finding thrifty ways to replicate your favorite treatments at home. When I don't have the money (or time!) to head to the actual spa, doing a quick facial is a sure way to make me feel like I'm at my best.

Refreshing aloe vera facial mask by Montagne JeunesseMontagne Jeunesse makes individually-wrapped facial masks that are not only easy-to-use but are easy on your wallet as well! Many of you may have even seen these in the store and grabbed one because the price point is hard to pass up - you can snag most of the MJ masks for right around $2 or $3 a piece.

One of the masks I was sent is the Aloe Vera Face Spa. The mask said that it was refreshing and cleansing (which was exactly what I needed after a long, rainy shopping trip with the kids) and I hoped the product would live up to that.

It only took me 10 minutes from beginning to end to do this facial, which makes it great for anyone who is on a tight time-schedule! The unique thing about this particular mask is that all of the facial ingredients have been saturated into an actual 'mask' made out of fabric. Just pull it out of the package, place it on your face, and you are instantly enjoying the refreshing feeling of cool aloe vera on your skin.

After using the mask, my face felt much tighter (in a good way!) and I sort of wished I had a second one so that I could try to use it on my neck. (Oh, saggy mom-neck, why won't you go away?)

I loved the feeling that my skin was left with after using the product and it was awesome to be able to apply the mask so quickly. The best part is that there was no 'mess' to be dealt with - when I was finished I tossed the mask in the trash, rinsed my face, and went on with my day.

Side Notes:

One thing I would like is if this could be bought as a fabric-less mask as well. (Or maybe even come as a double-packet with one package containing just extra facial cream.) I usually apply my masks all the way down my neck to get the full-on exfoliation experience, but because the mask is a one-size-fits all deal, I could only do it down to the edge of my chin. Also, although this would make a fantastic mask to wear on-the-go, it probably isn't something you want to be seen in. So if you are thinking about popping it in your bag and wearing it on the way home from work or the gym, you can... but just remember you may scare the living-something out of other drivers.

Bottom Line:

The purchase price of this mask is really hard to pass up, and it makes me feel as if I just got back from the spa. The smell is fantastic, my skin feels refreshed and I did it all in 10 minutes. If you happen to see these when you're at the store I advise that you grab a few!
